Flat (Ground)

A Flat polish usually can be obtained by stopping at the 100-grit resin bond. When you look directly down at the floor, it will appear somewhat hazy with little if any clarity or reflection. Flat appearance with none to very slight diffused reflection.

Satin (Honed)

The Satin polish is obtained by stopping at the 400-grit resin bond, producing a low sheen finish. Matte appearance with or without slight diffused reflection. This grit level produces a low-luster matte finish.

Concrete Polishing Process

The fact that concrete is a durable material that has a long life span is commonly known. Yet, it is rather having a poor reputation of being a dirty and grey floor, even though there is so much more to concrete floors than this. Our team transforms them into a stylish and resilient floor solution. The concept is simple yet brilliant! With our special equipment we grind and polish the concrete floors to expose the stronger concrete beneath. This does not only make the floor more durable, there are also no limits to your creativity. By coloring it, applying textures and patterns, or adding logo and stencils we make your floor look unique and break new grounds.

Polishing, Sealing & Burnishing

The following steps include grinding the concrete floors with resin-bonded diamonds to bring the floors to a polish. At some point in this step the stain is applied to the floors if desired, and the concrete is densified to harden it and leave it ready for the full polish.

The final step is to bring the concrete to the desired level of shine, which could be matte, satin, or highly polished. After this, the floors are sealed with an impregnating sealer and burnished twice.

Sealed Concrete

A concrete floor sealer will beautify and preserve your floor. Sealing brings out the beauty of a concrete floor by enhancing the color and adding sheen.

Sealing also preserves the decorative treatment by protecting the floor surface from abrasions and stains. Some floor sealers form a protective film on the surface of the concrete, while others penetrate into the floor.
